Hello hello! The weather has been glorious here in Connecticut - soooo warm and sunny - so I’ve been taking full advantage. We hosted our friends on our patio for dinner last weekend and it reminded me of how nice it is to entertain at home! Thomas made my family’s famous teriyaki flank steak recipe (if you have my book you know the teriyaki marinade I’m talking about that can be used on chicken, steak and more) and we ordered a sushi platter from Fjord.

Hi Kat! Trying to find my next bag. What year, size, and color is your beige Chanel classic flap? Trying to figure out the perfect beige year to source. Did you source new or pre-loved? Do you find you use it a lot or not really? Thanks for all your help!

Such a great question! I purchased my beige Chanel caviar medium double flap bag in 2019 from Rebag when they had a store in Soho. It was in like-new condition, but I can’t remember the exact year. I do know it was newer since it had the gold-tone clasp vs the gold plated clasp (which Chanel switched from post 2008.) You can get the exact bag style/color here. I reach for it often and love that it can be worn crossbody when I travel which is ideal for daytime outings. It’s a classic style that you will have forever! I also love the size - it’s not too big and not too small, but fits everything you need.

What do you use on your arms and shoulders? Your skin is so even and smooth!

Thank you! I use the scent free Necesssaire body lotion (they finally make a pump version) as well as the La Roche-Posay moisturizer (it’s basically the same but a fraction of the price!)
