Where oh where to begin?! So much has happened in the last few days! I shot my entire home just for you my lovely Substack subscribers this past weekend! I’ve never shared a home tour on any platform in the 6 years since we’ve lived here so this is very, very exciting. It will only be for paid subscribers so make sure you’re upgraded. I’m planning on posting it in early September.
I’m heading to Dallas next week to speak at a conference about my Substack journey which will be really fun! I’ve so enjoyed writing on here and connecting with you in a deeper, more meaningful way. Long form content is MY JAM. I also got invited to have lunch with Emma Grede who is a huge inspiration - I am literally pinching myself! Pre-fall is off to a very busy and exciting start.
It’s always hard to say goodbye to summer, but I’m actually really ready for a new season. New energy, new projects, new places and pretty new fall clothes - yes please.
What I’m Loving For Pre-Fall
Chic beige rain jacket - this will sell out fast
It’s the second to LAST WEEK to shop my clothing brand Everyone Loves The Weekend before we shut down for good due to tariffs. It’s bittersweet, but when one door closes, another opens - and I feel very fortunate that the universe has opened so many amazing doors for me since I decided to close it.
Everything truly happens for a reason.
August Q+A
Favorite foundation or skin tints! Loving your summer glow!
Thank you!! I have been wearing so much less makeup this summer which has been soooo nice (my dry eyes are thanking me!) I’ve been using a small amount of Haus Labs foundation on my skin, as well as their highlighter in Sunstone - pink gold on my eyes (it really makes the inner corner of my eyes POP!) And then I’ve been using the Jones Road Beauty Miracle Balm as a pretty cheek highlighter. I like how creamy and hydrating it is compared to other highlighters.
Classy outfits for date night or night out with the girls?
I wore this white stretchy peplum top 3x times this month and can attest, it is the most easy, versatile piece to pair with jeans, a pencil skirt, or flowy printed pants.
This black Helsa midi dress is insanely flattering on. I took my normal size. Dress it up or down with sandals, ballet flats, or a kitten heel.

Need a getting ready outfit as the bride for my wedding! As well as recs for my bridesmaids.
Congrats!! <3
I wore this Fleur du Mal silk slip dress. (What’s nice about the dress is you can rewear it out + about later.)
I also love this Petite Plume silk slip dress and lace robe.
For bridesmaids get these Petite Plume white cotton sets with blue piping (or the lace robes would work too!)
I bet you’re an innovative packer. Do you use packing cubes? Any recs on toiletry bags?
I am obsessed with the ROLL method. I tightly roll all of my clothes in my suitcase and it allows me to fit so much. I do not use packing cubes - funny enough, my husband does and loves them. I don’t feel like I need/want them because the roll method keeps everything tight and together. I just ordered this toiletry bag for fall/winter after seeing it everywhere and am SO excited. For summer, I had been using these bags which are super cute, but the faux croc on my new one is just chefs kiss for fall/winter!
Going to Paris in 2 weeks and need chic, but practical carry on tote/luggage.
I love this Rue de Verneuil carry on bag that comes in multiple colors. It also comes with a strap. The sides snaps condense the shape which make it look like the Hermes garden tote!
You can never go wrong with the Longchamp carry on tote (I own 3 because they hold so much.)
I also saw a girl on my flight home from Palm Beach wearing this monogrammed travel tote which I thought was very cute if you want something slightly more playful.
I’d love to know more about your choice to be childfree - I am too, and love to talk about it.
